First, the game will always begin with the players putting in their ante. Then, once all of the antes have been placed, the dealer will deal out five cards to all of the players. All five of the cards will be dealt to the players in the face down position in front of the players. Once all of the players have been dealt their five cards, the players will pick up their hand and decide which cards they would like to keep, and which ones they would like to discard in order to get new replacement cards. Players can trade in as many as 3 cards from their five. If they are holding an Ace then they can trade in as many as four. Players aren’t required to discard any cards if they have been dealt five cards they would like to keep. Once the players have been dealt their replacement cards, the players will place their bets. Once everyone is done betting, the players will show their cards and the winner will be determined.
